Dr.Obando Accreditations

Through his clinic Nova Dental, Dr. Luis Obando has been object of recognitions and accreditations from the following health organizations and associations:

PROMED: Nova Dental has received the the Seal of Quality by Council for the International Promotion of Costa Rica Medicine. It guaranties Dr.Obando clinic as one of the most reliable dental clinics in Costa Rica.

This Council is coordinates all the efforts carried out to ensure the quality of services provided by the private health industry in Costa Rica.

Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care: it was founded in in 1979 and it´s known for being the leader in ambulatory health care accreditation currently accrediting almost 5,000 organizations. Dr.Obando clinic has been acredited  reliable clinics outside the United States.

This association has proved Nova´s commitment to quality health, insurance companies, government agencies among others.

New York University College of Dentistry: This institution was originally founded in 1865. It trains annually to over 1,600 students from all over the U.S. and nearly 50 countries having a great impact on the health of society.

The university is also making progress in areas like engineering artificial muscle,  designing and testing dental implants, reducing oral health disparities, among others. Dr.Obando obtained his grade of Specialist in Oral Implantology in this University.

American Asociation of Endodontics: Dr. Luis Obando and his clinic has the accreditation of the American Asociation of Endodontics. This asociation is dedicated to the excellence in the art and science of endodontics and to the highest standard of patient care. The AAE represents over 7000 health professionals worldwide.

American Academy of Implant Dentistry: Nova Dental is recognized by this organization which is considered the first professional organization in the world dedicated to implant dentistry.

It promotes the advance of science and practice of implant dentistry through education, research and the use of technology.

International Congress of Oral Implantologists: This Congress extends to 65 worldwide affiliate societies to provide, to assist and incourage regional education to well over 25,000 active and connected members. Dr.Obando clinic is one of the few clinics in Costa Rica recognized by this organization.
