PATIENTS RESPONSABILITIES
- To be actively responsible for your own health.
- To use the premises and health services correctly, according to the standards of use.
- To be sure that all financial obligations related to your healthcare are paid in a timely manner.
- To follow instructions and indications that the healthcare personnel provide for your care.
- To be courteous with personnel, patients, family members and companions.
- To provide all details regarding your physical conditions and health in a truthful manner, especially when necessary for reasons of public interest or emergency.
- To be responsible for your own decisions regarding your health, record and sign them in writing if necessary. If you decide to leave the hospital prior to completing treatment, sign a Leaving Against Medical Advice Form.

- Responsabilizarse de su propia salud de una forma active.
- Usar correctamente las instalaciones y servicios de salud conforme a las normas generales de utilización.
- Asegurarse de que las obligaciones financieras asociadas con el cuidado de su salud se cumplan a tiempo.
- Cumplir todas las instrucciones e indicaciones que le brinde en forma adecuada el personal de salud.
- Mantener el respeto debido al personal y a los otros pacientes, familiares y acompañantes.
- Facilitar los datos sobre su estado físico o sobre su salud de manera leal y verdadera, asi como el de colaborar en su obtención, especialmente cuando sean necesarios por razones de interés publico o con motivo de asistencia medica.
- Asumir las propias decisiones sobre su salud, dejar constancia por escrito de estas y firmar el documento de alta voluntaria.

- To grant or withhold Informed Consent.
- To be a treated with confidentiality.
- A second medical opinion.
- To receive medical attention in case of emergency.
- To have a personal medical record.
- Right to be heard if not satisfied with attention received.
